Background: Etienne de Montille is one of the most restlessly dynamic men we know in Burgundy. As well as being the winemaker at the family domaine he is also general manager and 'executive' winemaker at Château de Puligny-Montrachet. This grand old family domaine has always been known for very long-lived wines that are difficult to understand in their youth but magnificent once they blossom.

Viticultural and vinification methods Since 2005 the domaine has moved toward biodynamic viticulture. They were certified organic by Ecocert in 2012.
